About Me:
I'm a Midwestern transplant to NYC. Spending time in Central Park rejuvinates me and is one of the best things about the city. Travel within Europe has given me a special view of my American life. My heritage is a mix of Irish/Scottish/Hungarian. It works for me! Learning to balance the work I love with having a life has been my biggest challenge. Learning that taking personal time to enjoy yourself (and others) is way beyond OK.
I'm in my late 40's but in good shape. A strong body - not fat, but not thin. I was a gymnast in college (yes, they existed back then!) Back in the 80's, in a dark theater, I would get mistaken for Phil Collins (the muscian). Life gets complicated on its own. I work to keep it nice and simple.
I would like to find someone who is easy-to-be-with. Like me, is both willing to give things a try and understands that they do not always work out. To quote the M&M penut guy "Love Hurts". But the excitement of meeting someone new is so wonderful. Making it last is the challenge- being open to letting it unfold- feeling the wonders each step of the way. A budhist friend of mine said the hardest thing is holding onto the ecstacy. I think we as humans have special talents for screwing things up. The better it is, the more we screw it up. I think the answer is in shutting off expectations and not trying to force the future. We just delude ourselves. Feeling each moment of life is happiness. If it is going where you want - just hang on!
