About Me:
I just retired after working for 35 years at a medical center. I still work part time two days a week. I love to travel and am planning a trip to Norway with my two sisters in August 2001. I have been to Hawaii, Texas, Washington, DC, New England in the fall (my favorite place other than Hawaii), and California. I still want to go to Washington state and Oregon sometime. I love to read, mostly romance or mysteries. I had five children (the oldest son, age 42, passed away in March 2000), all grown, and have eight grandchildren ranging in ages from 5 1/2 years to 22 years. I like movies on t.v. or video, reading, cooking, traveling, jigsaw puzzles, driving in the mountains, and visiting with family. I am not athletic, although if I had someone to walk with, I would like to do that. I am honest, dependable, and trustworthy and looking for someone with the same qualities who is also family oriented. I attend a Pentecostal Church occasionally, but am not a fanatic about it. Although, I am not crazy about animals, I don't believe that people should take animals if they are not going to be responsible for them and give them the best of care. I am very allergic to cats, as are most of my daughters and granddaughters.
I am interested in getting acquainted with someone that is honest, dependable, trustworthy, says what he means, and means what he says. Also, someone with similar interests, but not necessarily all of them. Definately has to be a non-smoker, and only drink occasionally. Looks are not as important as the qualities mentioned above.
