Life's a b*tch, and then you marry one, and then you die...
I really don't wanna end up like this, so I try to embrace life, not to marry and not to die everyday bit by bit, but fully later on one day. After I've lived, hopefully. My home used to be in Europe, but it seems I stepped into a plane and there I am - lost in Delhi, with years of work ahead. I figure Delhi can't be as bad as it looks, but I need someone to show me. The people at the company I work for are old enough for good advice, but they're too old to go out and have fun. I'd like to see what Delhi keeps in store, but I can't seem to find the right places. That's why if you're open minded you'd be more than welcome to join me for an occasional night on the town. I know India is a country of many traditions, and I try not to hurt anybody's feelings, but to me traditions are no more than interesting or surprising. That doesn't mean I'd like the whole world to be westernized, I love differences in culture. Though some things seem a little obsolete and appear to limit personal freedom. Sometimes I think that if certain Asian countries gave more power to women, then that could be a "great leap ahead." But I don't wanna get political now...
I'd really enjoy exchanging thoughts about anything with you, if you live in Delhi and would like to help me understand and experience India. The only thing I can think of right now I wouldn't be keen on doing is watching Hindi movies with a poor story and a lot of singing and dancing, where they suddenly cutaway to Switzerland or Scotland. That's not to be understood as an offense, but to me it's ridiculous enough to see that once. Maybe with your help I'll get the Indian humor one day. And maybe even the Indian way of life... I'd be happy if you tried.
