About Me:
Well, it took almost five years after the divorce, but I am finally happy with me.
Everyone says I am the most unique person they know, and while I don't mind that myself, I often wonder what others think when they say that! OK, so I can spin yarn on a spinning wheel and am learning to read Chinese, is that so wierd?
I have recently lost 55 pounds, and while I am still losing, I am happier every day with who I am.
I am a Neonatal ICU nurse who loves to actually TALK with someone reasonably intelligent. I like to discuss books, movies, current affairs, history etc. That does not mean that I do not like to actually get out and experience life! I love my friends, we go out regularly (you can come too!) I love my family, travel, dining out, MOVIES!!!, and actually doing things. Oh yeah, I am currently writing a novel that others have said is pretty good, but we will see.
I have become kind of a fitness nut, as I run every day (thats how I dropped the weight), but I don't determine that a person is of quality based on looks or body makeup.
I don't have a scanner, so I can't seem to get a picture uploaded, but the guys I work with say I am pretty, look younger than my age, and am getting hotter every day. (I have had a few offers, but geeze! I work with those guys!)
So, if you want to meet me, no pressure. If you don't think I am your type, you won't hurt my feelings, I am secure in myself and respect everyone's right to choose what they want. I am not adverse to gaining more friends, however, because you can never have too many of those right?
