About Me:
Well, I am a pretty normal guy. I am looking for someone that can take care of their own life, but still be interested in mine. This is how I treat people, and I expect that from people that I associate with.
I have recently ended a 5 year marriage. It was mutual, and there is minimal baggage from it. She was somewhat younger than I was, and I think that had a lot to do with us wanting to go our own ways.
In the past, I have always socialized with people that were somewhat older than I was, so I think I will try a relationship with a woman my age or maybe older by a few years.
I am a fairly quiet person, more of an artist and thinker. I would like similar traits in a potential mate. I am not really interested in astrology, but I have found that I relate really well with other pisces. I don't want someone that will roll over at the first sign of a discussion on a topic that matters, but I do want someone who will listen to me and not interrupt when I am saying something that I think is important. I will give you the same courtesy and respect.
I am in quite good shape, but in the last few years that has slipped a bit. I need to get back to the gym, although I bike to work, and I am on my feet all day so I get exercise. It would be great to meet someone who is willing to give me a little constructive motivation in the fitness area. I would hope that you would be in the same boat I am, in decent shape, but you don't have to have a perfect body.
I don't smoke, and I don't like people who do.
I don't have kids, but if you do that is ok. I don't not like them, but I find it difficult to interact with them when I don't know them well.
I really don't want to discuss my financial life for quite a while, except to say that I run my own company which is moderately successful.
Music is really important to me, and I used to play and teach classical music. I listen to mosty classic rock, with the Rolling Stones, Van Halen, Sammy Hagar, and Bad Company being some of my favorites.
