About Me:
You are an Illuminated Woman who is looking in a coal
cellar for a black cat which does not exist. I am
looking too and am always supportive. RU?
Born a Scot of working class origins, and streetsmart
with it, I spent a long time in universities trying
to find out which way was up. I never did. In the
real world I've been a successful teacher, musician,
editor, translator, tour guide, writer, and
businessman. Lived and worked in a few countries.
Unrich but can afford extended, comfortable travel
since I know the ropes. Enjoy art, jazz,(playing too -
Gerschwin, Porter, Kern, Cole, Berlin etc),
bookstores, geopolitics and economics, other
cultures, psychology, travel, volunteer work,
anything to do with water and am fortunate to live
beside it. One of my more major projects at present
is collecting independent, modern classics and
foreign films. Also, although I have always danced
informal ballroom stuff, jive, etc pretty well I find
I need lessons to tango - too complex to improvise.
I do some volunteer work, play music, dance, walk,
travel and swim regularly and have just started a
vegetable and fruit garden. Am passionate about life,
tactile, intuitive and have integrity. High energy
when enthused. Light hearted and fun to be around,
but can do the heavy stuff too.
