About Me:
Well, here goes. Apparently I carry the appropriate weight around on my 52-year old, 5'8" tall, slim frame and I do not have a “Dolly Parton” image. In fact, I have short, dark-brown hair and a more athletic body type.
My sports interests are tennis, squash, badminton, both types of skiing and bicycling. Another activity I love is dancing to a variety of music and also gardening, camping and backpacking into the mountains. In my opinion, a sense of humour is important, as well as honesty, reliability and financial security.
My two children are grown up and have left home while working in stable careers. I would prefer to find a companion in a similar family situation, who can share retirement freedom with me in about three years. Although I haven’t travelled much up to this point, I would love to catch up on seeing more of Canada and then some of the rest of the world, i.e. my birthcountry Germany, as well as Alaska, Australia and New Zealand.
I try to live a fairly healthy lifestyle, without being too hung up about it. Therefore I don’t smoke, but do enjoy the odd social drink, especially a brandy at bedtime. It would be fun to communicate with someone in the western part of Canada to see what develops. Are you interested?
