About Me:
Divorced from Arthur long ago, I spend my time alone pursuing many diversions. In all seasons, I seek solace and God while walking the shore, moors or mountains. In spring, my favorite season, I find delight in tramping the woods to enjoy the sparkle of small fleurs amid the leafing green or hunting for tidal treasures winter left upon the shore. Tending the garden is a seasonal passion and from the same I gather herbs to enliven many cookery. Baking fine bread is my specialty, one that is oft enjoyed by gatherings of friends who come to sup on soup or fowl or simply raise a glass of cheer. I oft times enjoy the local theatre or music of the classics or nearby folk and balladeers. If charmed by an impromptu invitation to view some art, be punted on the Thames, glide by sail on the sea or partake of a new, delightful recreation, I merely ask the dressing convention and ready myself anon. Although basically a casual person, I do enjoy the occasional opportunity to delight in finery and courtly gatherings. Thinking back, I recall much merriment upon the manor’s dancing floor and special feasts for two or sometimes more. When snow winds blow, a goodly book, picture shows, or knitting socks while sitting on a sun drenched window seat are pleasing ways to let the winter pass if solitary. Me thinks that time alone has gathered enough dust. As cheerful days dwindle into frigid nights, I seek a lighthearted beau to share and expand upon the pleasures of the shortened hours and weave music into the fabric of the stars.
