About Me:
Thought of giving this online match some serious effort, as it seems the relationship fairy is a little bit too busy in her job, something I was guilty of in the past. Although I sometimes think of myself as a bit of a romantic, believing that I would meet that special someone by chance, a twist of fate, or something magical – I am thinking this online method still has some magical mystique.
I was born and raised on Staten Island, and lived there most of my life, but moved away 6 years ago to join the rest of my family in Arizona. I came back to NY just recently for a career move and decided to get a place on ‘somewhat familiar’ Staten Island. So meeting someone on Staten Island or Manhattan is ideal.
I love kids and seriously hope one day I will share that gift. One of the hardest parts of leaving Arizona for NY again, was the long stretches of not seeing my nieces and nephews, especially the little one – he’s five. Thankfully, there is the Internet and a web camera!
Fitness was a pastime for me in the past, and I am working towards reviving that lifestyle. So although I am not athletic, I am not overweight and look younger than I am. I recently walked from 82nd Street to Houston Street – now that is a walk! On the other hand - dining out at a good restaurant is a definite weakness! Help me indulge!!
I grew up in relatively conservative surroundings, so I have adopted those in my own life, but I work in the News industry, so I get a little balance there.
