About Me:
About me??? Well....
If you could characterize my personality and life
along the lines of a cartoon....then it would be "The
Far Side". I have a quick and sharp wit that causes
many to run for cover. But if you can see that it's
all for humor then you ve not a thing to worry
about....and I hope that you can toss it right back at
me. Now , THAT'S a challenge I prefer.
I'm a bit over 6', 190lbs, wide shoulders, long legs,
and love to laugh .... even if it is at my own
expense. I'm not a fanatic about working out but I
hike and swim to fight off the effects of aging.
People routinely place my age somewhere in the early
30's, get carded all the time, and I've had one person
say that I'm well preserved ....but I'm hoping that
was a compliment.

Who I would like to meet:
I would like to meet a woman who is independent yet
enjoys being taken care of - confident but wants a
partner who can have an opposing opinion.
Sophisticated but down to earth and most importantly
most have a warm, kind heart. I want to meet a woman
who can manage a long-term relationship while staying
true to her own individuality. Bonus points are given
if you are understanding and respectful of my
commitment to being the best Dad I can be for my 13yo
daughter.

Who I don t want to meet:
I'm usually tolerant of most people, but I do have a
few things that irritate me. I can't stand people who
are talkers instead of doers - especially those who
dish out advice to other people about things they
haven't done and probably never will do. I tend to
avoid these types.
My pet peeve is some peoples' inability to tell the
truth or not being able to accept it.
....Smoking is also pretty unattractive to me...
...and I don't know why...but...body piercings give me
the heebee-geebees....
