About Me:
My father always said, "If you take yourself
seriously, you have a serious problem.” No problems
here! I live life everyday. I have a few businesses.
These allow me to goof off, but lately I have been
doing little other than working. I have a dream. I
have goals I can see in front of me without squinting.
Lately I have been forcing myself to take a few hours
off each day and to spend at least 2 days a week not
working. Oddly, I get more done. What I haven’t done
is found a woman I can enjoy life with. There is
always tomorrow.
I think I get more from life by being a giving person-
no I don’t hand out cash to the kids on Mill. By
giving I mean sharing my ideas and passions with
others. By helping others find success with
encouragement. I am self-employed. I would rather have
a little financial insecurity now and then; than work
in an office until the day they give me a little
plaque and show me the door.
I would rather get my news from a newspaper than from
a TV. The WSJ is all I really need, but I do read the
Republic now and then on weekends.
My dad also said, “If you want something, you have to
ASK for it.” Here goes: I want a woman with enough
self-esteem to understand that silence is not
something that needs to be filled. That is capable of
leading and of being lead. I am a charger and can’t
stand having to drag others along. I can follow as
well as I can lead. Or better yet walk beside me.
Monopoly is a game. Relationships are not. I have had
both. That’s not attractive to me anymore. I think it
is about my self-esteem. The more I accomplish the
higher I see myself and the less willing I am to
accept game players into my world.
Well that’s a short look into the eyes of a stranger.
I don’t know what you’ll see and if you’ll even be
interested, but I figure that I would rather not waste
my time or yours with crap.
