About Me:
Hi, My name is Charles; I'm a 35 year old, 5' 8",
single white male living in the western suburbs. I've
got a good job, lots of friends, plenty of hobbies, and
a life that's basically both happy and comfortable.
Good as it is, there's something missing. Perhaps,
that something is you. Let me tell you a bit more
about myself. I'm reasonably attractive (dark hair and
blue eyes), in decent shape (though it could be
better), and have a good sense of humor (albiet an
unfortunate weakness for bad puns). I love to spend
time at the theatre, museums, and used book stores.
I read (among other things) a lot of science fiction and
fantasy. I actually understand British humor; from
Gilbert & Sullivan through Monty Python and Mr
Bean. I can play a fiddle, a mandolin, a boudhran, and
a pair of knucklebones; but not all at the same time. I
spend entirely too much time working and playing on
a computer. I make up for that by going camping
during the warmer weather. I have two cats and I like
to cook. As for what I'm looking for; first off, a lady
who hasn't run screaming from the room after reading
the preceeding description. Someone who is
intelligent, funny, and charming. She should have a
good sense of humor, a ready smile, and a healthy
dose of self-confidence. She should have some
interest in at least some of the things I mentioned
earlier. Finally, she should like (or at least tolerate)
cats.
