About Me:
A definite lack of crazy would be nice. Someone who is down to earth
and isn't afraid to get dirty. High maintenance will never work. He's a
simple guy and enjoys the simple things in life. Good conversation,
hanging out by the fire watching movies, doing anything outdoors. If
you want him to take you shopping and hold your purse when you
get your nails done, move along. He's a great listener and has a lot
to say himself. Romance? Not exactly his forte. I asked him what his
favorite flower was today and he said "I don't pay much attention to
flowers. I don't think I have one. Your mom loves roses though." Mind
you, my parents have been divorced for over 25 years and have
barely spoken, yet he still remembers her favorite flower. That might
not seem like much but it describes my dad's subtle romance. He
might not wine and dine you but he actually listens when you talk. So
looking for a partner that can take that at face value. Please nobody
that tries to "change" anyone. If it isn't a fit he'll be an adult about it
and tell you. No smokers. Occasional drinks are ok but a non drinker
would be awesome. No drugs of any kind. He's a spiritual man but
not religious. So if you're really into your faith it might not work out.
Same with politics. He's pretty middle ground on a lot of stuff and
dislikes most politicians. So if you have super strong opinions about
politics and need a partner that shares your values, he probably isn't
the guy for you. Also he's a firm believer in equality. For everyone,
not just some. No rascists, homophobes, or sexists. He believes men
and woman are equal. Which means he'll never tell you you can't do
it cause you're a woman or that you do something well for a woman
or any other condescending stuff. He raised two super independent
strong daughters and never told us no because of gender. In the
same right, don't expect him to pay for everything just because "he's
