About Me:
I am a devoted single mom to two girls (5 and 7) -- and we have a blast together. I've never been married -- when I hadn't met the right guy by a certain age I decided not to miss out on having kids and to go ahead on my own -- it was the best decision of my life. But that doesn't mean that I have given up on meeting "Mr. Right".
I guess that I would be classified as a BBW, but that doesn't mean that I'm a couch potato. We love animals, particularly horses and dogs, swimming, ice skating, movies, shopping, dog shows, horse shows and just about any other fun family activity we can find. I also enjoy dining out (a place without Happy Meals on the menu would be nice, for a change). I love to read and like most kinds of music. I lived in Switzerland for about 7 years and did a lot of traveling -- I would love to do more.
I'm a professional working woman, and I'm pretty independent (as you can probably tell). I'm not really looking for someone to "take care of me", although I could get into some babying now and again. What I'm really for is someone with whom to share life and laughter. Honesty is important to me -- at my age with two kids I'm just not into head games. I'm not really into organized religion, but have no objections to someone who is.
Obviously, the guy I would like to meet would have to truly enjoy kids and some silliness. I would love to meet someone that likes to be on the go with a variety of activities but also enjoys some at-home time. I don't really care what a person looks like -- I'm more interested in who they are -- and the perfect guy for me would have to be able to accept me for who I am, as I would accept him.
Oh, and I tend to ramble... does everyone feel as silly as I do when filling this out?
